Guided Fly Fishing Trips, Livingston, Montana

Welcome, I'm Dennis Alverson and I grew up in Montana hunting and fishing from an early age. I have spent most of my life exploring the mountains and rivers in the area and guiding people on fishing and hunting adventures. I take great pleasure and pride in sharing the spectacular fisheries of Montana with clients. My goal first and foremost is to show you a good time and leave you with a lasting impression of the unique beauty and fishing opportunities of Montana.
Fly fishing in Montana is some of the best there is. We can provide an excellent opportunity for you to dry fly, nymph and streamer fish. The Livingston, Montana area (Paradise Valley) is centrally located near several famous trout fisheries. The Yellowstone River is the longest freestone river in the country. This undammed river boasts to have the longest stretch of "blue ribbon trout stream" in the nation. The near by spring creeks of Armstrong Spring Creek, DePuy Spring Creek and Nelsons Spring Creek, offer spectacular views and world class walk and wade fly fishing. Other rivers, lakes and streams such as the Boulder River, Stillwater River, Madison River, Burns Lake and Storys Lake offer a wide variety for every fly fishing angler. Within an hours drive of Livingston, MT we can be fly fishing one of nine world class fisheries. Novice anglers to the most experienced will enjoy exploring the fly fishing opportunities in Montana.
We offer fly fishing trips in drift boats, rafts and walk and wading options. Fishing from a McKenzie River Boat is by far the most effective way to fish the rivers! We average floating 10-river miles in an eight hour day.
